PLAYER OF THE MATCH TILLAKARATNE DILSHAN
Sri Lanka proved a step much too far as England were trounced by 10 wickets for a humbling ICC Cricket World Cup exit at the hands of Tillekeratne Dilshan and Upul Tharanga.
The target was pretty challengeable under the lights but the Sri Lankan openers made it look ordinary and scaled it down with minimum of fuss. Dilshan(108) and Tharanga(102) shared their second double century stand of the tournament. The English bowling was mediocre to say the least as they failed to break through and were expensive as well.
An overwhelming performance by the Lankan Lions to completely outclass the Brits and cruise into the semi-final. The Sri Lankan players are looking very excited after handing England their fifth 10 wicket defeat.
We have got the four semi-finalists of the CWC 2011.
