PLAYER OF THE MATCH PAUL STIRLING
Ireland have bowled out Netherlands for 306 in their 50 overs. Ireland started off well with their bowling in the start taking 4 wickets for just 113 runs but then let the game drift away in the middle. Ryan ten Doeschate came in to spoil the party for the Irish team and scored a brilliant 106. The Dutch captain Peter Borren too chipped in with a well made 84 off just 82 balls. Once these two perished, the lower order couldn't do much and Ireland came back into the game by causing 4 run outs in the end
Ireland head back home with a sweet victory! The opening batsmen William Porterfield(68) and Paul Stirling(101) put up a stunning partnership of 177 runs for the first wicket. Stirling never let them settle with their bowling and hit their bowlers all around the park. Later on Niall O'Brien came in and hit a well made 57 to steer his side to the victory. It was all about partnerships for the Irish team and they displayed good cricket. Netherlands on the other hand couldn't do anything with their bowling and some dropped chances and misfields caused them the game. The best bowler for them was Tom Cooper taking 2/31 in his 7 overs. Paul Stirling was declared as Man of the Match for his amazing innings
