ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 -- AUS VS KEN

AUSTRALIA  324/6  (50)   KENYA  264/6  (50)
PLAYER OF THE MATCH  COLLINS OBUYA
Australia had to work harder than expected before booking an ICC Cricket World Cup quarter-final place with a 60-run win over Kenya in Bangalore. Australia have won the toss and elected to bat first. Michael  Clarke top-scored with 93 as the holders cracked 324-6, but spirited knocks from veteran Collins Obuya and Tanmay Mishra led the minnows to a commendable 264-6 in reply. Kenya  bowled very well initially and took wickets at the regular intervals but lost their way in the end and let the Kangaroos score above 300.
Australia started off well with their bowling in the start taking three quick wickets but later on there came a fight back from Collins Obuya who was unbeaten on 98. He along with Tanmay Mishra who hit a well made 72 put up 115 runs for the fourth wicket. Collins Obuya, who belted three sixes and nine fours, fell agonizingly short of a century as he finished unbeaten on 98 after taking just two from Tait's final over.
