Here comes the long-expected Nicole nail polish collection by the Kardashians and OPI, and it is unostentatiously announced as Kardashian Kolors.

It is a set of 14 colors (yes, some of the dictionaries still give the old-fashioned spelling!) that are rather predictable but look good. The outstanding feature is the names that embrace the whole family in a spate of funny wordplay like Sealed With a Kris, Kim-pletely In Love, Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam, or kolorful Rainbow in the S-Kylie. Hard Kourt Fashionista and Kendall on the Katwalk are descriptive and memorable, tempting us to choose by name rather than by kolor, but at the price of $8 each you can just get the whole pack.

There may be another attempt quite soon to misplace some more c’s on the part of the enterprising family – it becomes an unpopular letter in the fashion alphabet, no?

Trendy Nail Lacquer Colors for Fall 2011

Since Chanel nail lacquers are considered the most trendy and the best in quality worldwide, it is logical to learn what shades will be fashionable this autumn, with Chanel in particular.

There are two tendencies that will remain for sure, and we can already adjust to the new images.

Kardashian Sisters Are Launching Opi Nail Enamel Collection

Kardashian sisters project is going to be targeted at the nails. It adds a new item to their long sale list that includes clothes, jewelry, tanners and what not. So how about a splash of the Kardashians on your fingers, reality show fans? Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Nicole by OPI will see to it that their nail statement hits the market soon (competing with other OPI collaborations like Justin Bieber & Nicole polish, Glee polish from Sephora, Katy Perry and Serena Williams stuff with OG).The project has been brewing since some time in April – at least as reflected in the sisters’ Twitter messages. Khloe and Kourtney have been sounding off about “amazing top secret” meetings at OPI for some time now with Kourt claiming to go crazy over their polish colors. The final confirmation came this week from Kim who shared they got round to shooting the ad campaign for the product that was announced as a new GLAM nail polish line for Nicole by OPI. Kim went on to promise the best “glitz and glam” colors that they are sure will delight fans.

The nail polish has been named very poetically – “No More Waity, Katie” – and it is one of the colors of the brand’s season collection (All Hail McQueen for Fall-2010 season).

Though it remains a mystery why this particular shade has been selected as the nail polish for the princess.

By the way, Nails Inc. is also inspired by the upcoming wedding. The company has created two special nail polishes with specific, almost jewelry lids (15 pounds each), and a set of four mini-gloss nail polishes at the price of £ 25.

”Kate” nail polish has sapphire crystals on its lid. The nail polish is dedicated to Kate Middleton and her famous sapphire ring, presented by Prince William at the engagement.

”Will” nail polish presents crystals on its lid arranged in the form of the British flag.

To date, there is a nail polish with the price tag of $132, 000. It is the Models Own Gold Rush nail polish in sparkling gold shade. In fact, the formula does not contain gold. Why is it so expensive then? The bottle itself is the price driver. It is decorated with 1, 118 diamonds.

This luxury product is sold in the London jewelry boutique called Frost of London for 83,000 British Pounds. A £5 version (so-called ”ready to wear” economy version) will be released in December. Will the expensive bottle ever be sold? It is not clear, but there is already a lineup for the cheaper version.

New nail polish colors from Chanel and Dior

Currently, those new products are released in very limited editions and are sold only in very few stores around the world. Yet, keeping in mind that those French brands are practically the lawmakers in the world of fashion and beauty, it is easy to guess that soon enough those colors will fill shelves of beauty stores and will surely become great hits.

Chanel introduced limited edition of a nail color with a very poetic name – Riva. This nail polish stands out with its glitter and light-blue color. Cold and pale. The product will be available for sale only in November and only in some boutiques in Europe. But don’t worry, the color will instantly become very popular, so similar shades will follow soon.

Dior also has something new to offer- a mini-collection of nail polishes devoted to the three fashion capitals – Paris, London, and New York.

While, the Bond Street shade pays tribute to the color of London streets under the morning smog. This shade is gray with some blue hints.
