Zimbabwe signed out of the ICC Cricket World Cup with their second win of the tournament, beating Kenya by 161 runs in a Group A tie in Kolkata on Sunday.Batting first, Zimbabwe amassed 308 thanks to half-centuries from Vusi Sibanda (61), Tatenda Taibu (53) and Craig Ervine (66), as the trio - with help from skipper Elton Chigumbura (38) - also notched two century partnerships between them.
Zimbabwe had Kenya on the mat right from the start when they sent back half the side back to the pavilion for just 44 runs. From there, Kenya never recovered as such but there was a lone fight in the end from Nehemiah Odhiambo who stayed unbeaten on 44. Ray Price was the star bowler for Zimbabwe taking 2/20 in his 7 overs. Greg Lamb and Graeme Cremer took 2 wickets each for their side. Craig Ervine was declared as Man of the Match for his wonderful innings of 66.
