Third Celebrity Fragrance Reveal from Halle Berry
Oscar-winning American actress Halle Berry will present her third perfume in August. However, the fragrance will not be available for worldwide sale until January 2011. Berry said that she wanted to create a floral composition when she was working on this women’s perfume, which is called Halle Berry Reveal.
Did the actress manage to create a more floral perfume this time? Experts think that despite abundant presence of floral notes in it, the fragrance can be attributed to very classic and light perfumes. Halle Berry Reveal is more of a woody-floral perfume; it was designed by perfumer Richard Herpin.
The composition contains the following notes: mimosa, honey melon, red berries, peaches, iris flowers, neroli, plum, vetiver, cashmere wood, and skin musk. Berry is very pleased with this perfume and says that presence of iris added particular softness and lightness to the fragrance.
Fragrance Halle Berry Reveal will be quite concentrated (Eau de Parfum) and will be released in bottles accompanied by a line of perfumed body products.
Fifi Awards 2010 Best Perfume Winners
The long-awaited ceremony, which awards the greatest prize among perfumers from around the world took place this week. The Fragrance Foundation announced list of winners of the prestigious 2010 Fifi Awards. There were no sensations, since most of the nominations were quite predictable.

OPI company constantly surprises us with new collections, even ”cinematic” ones. Nail polish fans welcomed collections inspired by this year’s movie ”Alice in Wonderland”. A new premiere is coming up, which OPI couldn’t miss as well – the movie called ”Burlesque” with Christina Aguilera playing the leading role. The brand’s new collection was inspired by this movie.
This is a holiday collection, since it turned out to be very festive and luxurious. The new nail polishes will become available for sale in September 2010, while the movie premiere is scheduled for November. Indeed, it is about time for Christmas products to start popping up.

Tips on How to Dry Your Hair Naturally
Summer is a season when you can forget about your hair dryer for a while. At least, when you are not pressed for time. Beauty experts and hair stylists recommend that you dry your hair naturally, without blow-drying, as often as possible. Obviously, the summer is the right time to start doing it. But the question is – What is the fastest and most effective way to dry hair naturally?
- Blow-drying is really unhealthy because hot air dries and damages your hair. Use a towel that absorbs very well to reduce the time you need to spend for drying your hair naturally. The towel should be soft and absorbing.
- Never rub your hair with a towel because wet hair is more fragile. You just need to pat your hair dry.
- How to style hair? The best way is to use your fingers and high quality hair care products. Make sure you lift your hair at the roots occasionally to make hair styling process more effective.
- It is not a big problem to curl your hair without blow-drying. Use scrunches and barrettes in your wet hair to create a natural wavy hair effect.

Do Your Makeup Faster In The Morning
Women typically spend a minimum of two hours to care for their appearance on Monday morning. There are ladies who prefer to do makeup before Friday night to free some precious time to spend on themselves. Researchers from the University of London estimated how much time women spend on their beauty routines.
Research involving 1,000 women revealed that we spend an average of 76 minutes. 23 minutes for hairstyling, 18 minutes for doing makeup, 16 minutes for choosing what to wear and 19 minutes for taking a shower. On Monday morning, women spend on average 12 minutes on hairstyle, 9 minutes on applying mascara, lipstick, eyeshadow and blushes, 9 minutes on wardrobe routine and 10 minutes on taking a shower. On Friday, beauty routine time falls by 6 minutes.
Ed Watson, head of research team, says women spend three fourths of their life on caring about the appearance. By the way, celebrities like Cheryl Cole and Jennifer Lopez spend no more than one hour on beauty routines. The celebrities spend 28 minutes on dressing, 14 minutes on taking a bath or shower, 11 minutes on making hairstyle and 19 minutes on makeup. So the singers can save some extra time for emergencies like fixing broken zippers.
New Fragrance Miss Pucci by Emilio Pucci
Emilio Pucci, a popular perfume brand, is ready to introduce with a new feminine perfume Miss Pucci in July 2010. This fragrance follows Pucci Vivara 2007, even the package is similar to Vivara’s motif.
Miss Pucci is the product of collaboration of three unique perfumers: François Demachy, Christine Nagel, and Benoît Lapouza. This composition captures the notes of citrus, rose, orange blossom, jasmine, cedar, iris, and white musk.
New Fragrance Nina L`Elixir by Nina Ricci
Following several variations of fragrances from Nina we can expect another perfume for young princesses. Those fragrances have been treating us with rich and fresh compositions since 2006. Nina L’Elixir, the newest perfume, will be presented at the end of this summer.
The name itself promises long-lasting and rich aroma. This is another variation dedicated to the theme of apples, jasmine, and refreshing chords of bright lime. Warm musk adds particular sensitivity to this combination.
